You Asked Me to Speak

Recital in partial fulfillment of a
D.M.A. in Choral Conducting
Friday, December 8, 2017
7:30 p.m.
7400 Woodlawn Ave NE
Seattle, WA 98115

LOCATION AND TRANSPORTATION:

7400 Woodlawn Ave NE is a former church space in Green Lake.  Parking there is limited and so we want to strongly encourage public transportation.  Bus options go to within a block and a half of the building.

The main entrance for audience and performers is on Latona Ave heading north from Woodlawn Ave.  There is also an accessible entrance off the small parking lot behind the building (which we want to reserve for audience-goers who require more accessibility).  Look for the double doors near the EV charger parking spaces.  There will be signs posted to point the way to both entrances.

For a map of the area, see below.  For a Google Map to get your own directions - click here.

Public Transit Information:

Three bus lines come within a block and a half of the venue during Friday evenings.  SEE THE MAP BELOW.

  • Route 45 goes between the UW Link Station (via University Way) to the Loyal Heights neighborhood, stopping at the corner of East Green Lake Drive N and Latona Ave.

  • Route 26 goes between the Seattle Center and Northgate, stopping at the corner of Woodlawn Ave NE and Latona Ave (right in front of the church building).

  • Route 316 is an express route that starts at King Street Station and begins its local stops in Green Lake, ending up in Meridian Park.  It also stops at the corner of Woodlawn Ave NE and Latona Ave (right in front of the church building) and runs between 3:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Parking Information:

Street parking is available for limited amounts of time.  Also the Green Lake Public Library (at Latona Ave and E. Green Lake Way) has a small parking lot that is available at that time.  Paid parking is available under the PCC grocery store at Woodlawn Ave and NE 72nd Street.
